"Swirling guitars, layers of noise, drugged out soft male and female vocals going back and forth sounding like part love, part death, part hope, part sadness...as if they've turned their instruments into liquid and poured them into your ears."

New material is being written for the next Fleeting Joys release. Actually, some has already been recorded! The original intent was that of an EP, but maybe we'll just do another album. We've already got the title. |

The LA shows were great!. We played with LSD & the Search for God, Rachel Goldstar, Brief Candles, The Meeting Places, For Those Who Know, and Azailia Snail.
My favorite moment occurred about midway through the first show when we looked at each other and realized we were in complete bliss! Told you we could do it live. |

Thanks to everyone for making Despondent Transponder, the number one seller for tonevendor
and plop
in May. |

Despondent Transponder,
the first release by Fleeting Joys, is out. It is a ten song CD
that was lovingly crafted. Matt McCord plays drums and will be joining
the band live. The group is currently planning a tour in support
of their album. So, buy it, and then go to the show to see if they
can pull it off live. As someone who is close to the band, I can
tell you they can! |
